Hi! My name is Sarah, and I'm a photographer in the Washington, DC area.

I love life, with all of it's beautiful shades of crazy.




I love natural light because the sun shows color, life, and emotion better than any man-made lights.




I love doing portraits because I get to see a glimpse into a person's soul.




I love shooting weddings because I love love. There are few things in life that give me as much pleasure as capturing other peoples' love and documenting their commitment to one another.




I love my camera, but not as much as I love people.




I love my big, crazy, fun-loving family. I have six brothers and two sisters. I'm the oldest, and it's crazy, and I love every minute of it.




I love coffee shops because they provide an atmosphere for heart-chats, soul-ponderings, and creativity.




I love books, especially antique books. I love their weight and smell, and the feeling I get when I trace my fingers over worn pages.




I love shoes. I really, really love shoes.




I have my Dad's blue eyes.




I believe coffee is best when enjoyed in a pottery mug.




I love my crazy curly hair.




If I ever want to go undercover, all I have to do is straighten my hair and add glasses.




My sister Amie is my best friend.




I love to travel, and I love the process of the journey.




I love words, and I love writing.




I have an obsession with Moleskine journals and black ink pens.




I love all things beautiful.




I'm a dreamer at heart.




I love my Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and I'm committed to live my life for His glory.
The Bible is the primary influence in my life, and has the final say on all my decisions.
The Gospel is my joy, and the thing that defines my life.
I believe that God is actively at work building His kingdom and adorning His Gospel in this world. And I want to participate in that work.
